The coat that took nine fittings
How the cherry coat went from a paper pattern to the rail.

It started as a brown paper pattern pinned to the atelier wall in March.
Nine fittings
We cut it in calico first, then in wool, then in wool again. Each fitting moved the shoulder a few millimetres.
The final coat is lighter than the first by almost half a kilo, because we took the lining out.
Made to last
Every coat is numbered. If it ever needs a repair, send it back and we will fix it.
